I can change an electrical outlet or lamp bulb socket in America in a few minutes, but I watched my Chinese friend do it and their designs are complicated for outlets, instead of following western type models.

These fake foreign brands are only marketed within China, so it's not clear that there is any actual damage to foreign countries. The only people being tricked are Chinese consumers.

it has been in the news that although China exports and sells whole sale to American retailers China companies only make about 16% of the profit the American retailers make. So look at what American retailers are doing and cast the stones at them. Similarly in China, what you pay for foreign products is outrageous because Chinese people love being westernized. You should see how many Chinese women even ones with low income dress. They are so fashionable and trendy compared to American women.

Many foreigners are naive and short-sighted. The whole set of corrupted practices is supported by local and central governments. No company of reasonably sized business is really "private".
