It's absolutely deplorable, like all such traffic stories we hear every month or so. He's been through enough hardship already and look what luck throws at him. I hope they catch the scumbag runaway too.

I know him personally, he's an absolutely great person who really cares for his wife; hard to imagine a more caring, pleasant and bubbly guy to be around. He's hoping he recovers soon.

This driver is playin Ma Jian right now and doesn't give a F@#K about this American. That's the basic driving mind-set of this guy and most...They need to go where they need to go,,and forget everything else.. Thats why so many people die on the roads in China.. When will the govt. really start to crack down on this madness?? They are like racehorses with blinders. They just see strait ahead---nothing else..I actually believe,this is all done on purpose. Does anyone else have a problem with the title?
I don't usually react to the word "laowai" but it seems unnecessary here. They could have said "American cyclist", "foreign cyclist" or, the best way of all, "cyclist".
